Sunday, bloody !*@&#^*#&$% Sunday

Okay, perhaps I’m merely justifying my disappointment/in denial/looking at the bright side/showing my true colors as a baseball n00b, but today’s loss was a freak accident. It was, at the very least, anybody’s game up until the tie-breaking run.

I don’t care about all the criticism!
I don’t care about all the dissent!

Anything goes!
Especially in this sport!
Especially now!
Especially when we play against SF!

I understand that dudes’ panties are all in knots because there are only 6 games left!

But let’s just &#@!*$!@^#%@!*$%*!@$% get our !@&^!@*&#%$%$%@ together for these last two series!!!!!!!!!!!

From Dodgers.com:

Tuesday, vs. Padres, 7:10 p.m.
Jake Peavy (9-11, 2.77) vs. Chad Billingsley (15-10, 3.22)

Wednesday, vs. Padres, 7:10 p.m.
Wade LeBlanc (1-1, 5.63) vs. Clayton Kershaw (4-5, 4.28)

Thursday, vs. Padres, 7:10 p.m.
Shawn Estes (2-3, 4.73) vs. Greg Maddux (7-13, 4.31)

Friday, at Giants, 7:35 p.m.
Hiroki Kuroda (9-10, 3.84) vs. Brad Hennessey (1-2, 8.65)

Saturday, at Giants, 6:05 p.m.
Derek Lowe (14-11, 3.29) vs. Matt Cain (8-13, 3.80)

Sunday, at Giants, 1:05 p.m.
Chad Billingsley (15-10, 3.22) vs. Tim Lincecum (17-4, 2.46)

Poor Bills!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Nevermind, the Padres have since switched their starting pitchers around.

Poorweather friend

I hate my two bay area friends tonight. Just tonight, though, because it’s just one game. This happens. This, today, happens all the time. And it’s fine.

Right?

Butttt. Maddux did not look so well, eh. A bit pale in the face, so to speak. But it’s cool. Actually, the last three games were a little uneasy… But we’ve got it.

Right?

Right? Right?

High five!

Also, I got a Wii for my birthday (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and I made little miis of Dewitt and Martin the other day. Is that creepy?

c’mon, padres

today’s game was SOLID!!!!

that last out, though–yeesh.

too bad the padres couldn’t get it together. we could be tied for first right now. again. again-again-again.

how rad is casey blake? i’m not just talking about his summer coat. it was about time they put him up front in the batting lineup.

have i mentioned that i love billingsley?

what do you think he did for his birthday yesterday?

by the way, DEWITT IS KILLING IT IN VEGAS RIGHT NOW. kinda, right? see here.

maybe he’ll have a great august in vegas. maybe they’ll bring him back up in september. maybe he’ll have a killer september with the dodgers. and then they can just keep him hot by bringing him up and down every month until he figures his ish out. not that it makes any sense, especially schedule-wise.

2legit, 2legit dewitt.

5 unearned runs!

yesterday’s game was weird. almost painful to watch, even though we managed to pull off a lot of great offensive plays and got the W.

-derek lowe was not fun to watch.
-broxton as usual made me nervous and was not fun to watch.
-we had some weeeird problems with our defense, especially on a couple of the giants’ stolen bases. dude stole home!!?
-i also started feeling kinda bad for the giants’ defense a tiny little bit.
-but laughed when sanchez walked in 2 runs. rad!

kill it, chan ho!!!!!!!!!!!!
